I’ve had chickens since 2002 and anyone who has ever been inside of a coop knows the smell can be very unpleasant! I sprinkled a whole bag in and around my coop when first setting it up in Feb and do just a little sprinkle on the poop shelf and run every Sat. Morning! I use First Saturday Lime after cleaning out my goats indoor enclosure. I remove the old bedding, then sprinkle the lime down before adding a layer of shavings on top. Works great for keeping away bugs and the ammonia smell in between cleanings. I'm on auto ship once a month and I'm very happy with it!
