Honestly I'm surprised how much I like this stuff but will say doesn't keep the insects away as good as I hoped. I've already used the entire bag but it has been exceptionally rainy here. So I'm going to buy again soon! It does control odor very well and I'm mixing it in with my chickens dust bath next time!

I bought this bag a couple of years ago and had a bit left. Now we have had torrential downpours for DAYS. I now have over 30 chickens out back and new babies and moms. The smell was horrific, and bugs. What am I going to do?????? Well, seeing posts from others, I bought and spread the pelleted horse bedding product. But before that, I laid down some First Saturday Lime. Well, well, well. The lime did the trick. And we have now had two days of no rain, and I just now took out some more FSL alone and spread in the little house one hen and chicks are in, as well as other damp areas that had bugs swirling. And odors?? Gone. It really is a wonderful product and I can use without fear with this little nuggets running around.

Easy to use. Keeps my coop clean & pest free. I also mix in dirt where they dust bath.. I cant live without this stuff. Also helps eliminate odors in our pups area.
