I love First Saturday Lime! It ALWAYS goes on the floor of my coop prior to the bedding material. It keeps bugs and odors down, and I know its safe for my hens as I also put it in their dirt bath. I've used it for at least 2 years with confidence, and I plan to use it in the future.

I’ve been using first Saturday lime in my chicken coop pretty regularly for several years now It keeps things fresh and it keeps the nesting boxes, damp free. I’ve also noticed a significant reduction in creepy crawlies in the nesting boxes as well. I add a little bit to their water containers and in their dust bath. Highly recommend!
