Opt for our convenient subscription service to ensure year-round pest control. FSL is a cost-effective and eco-conscious solution that enhances your outdoor experiences by reducing pest-related annoyances. Don't forget to reapply it every month to maintain its effectiveness in creating a pest-free outdoor haven!

How to Use Outside the House:

  • Apply FSL undiluted in a 2-inch-wide pour around the outside base of your building structure. This creates a protective barrier.
  • Ensure that you check the barrier and reapply every month to keep your outdoor spaces pest-free.

How to Use Around the Yard:

  • Add FSL in a yard spreader on the lowest setting to cover the whole yard.
  • Wait two days before watering.
  • FSL will create an undesirable dry environment and kill larvae while being safe for kids and pets.
  • Apply FSL monthly to disrupt the insects life cycle.
  • Applying FSL to your yard in this manner will repel pests, help raise soil ph  levels, fight odor causing bacteria, and assist against acidic urine spots.

Gardening

FSL can raise your soil pH level to 7, which fosters the growth of various fruits and veggies!

A pH level of 7 promotes the thriving of a wide range of fruits and vegetables. Think tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, strawberries, green beans, zucchinis, and many more. This balanced pH ensures bountiful harvests and lush gardens. However, it's a good idea to consult your garden expert to determine if a specific plant or tree benefits from a high pH. FSL simplifies both your pest control and pH management, turning your gardening and lawn care into an eco-friendly and highly productive endeavor. Your garden will not only be healthier but also more abundant!

How to Use:

  • Select a dry day for application and ensure your garden is debris-free.
  • Sprinkle FSL evenly over your garden soil, creating a thin layer. You can use a handheld spreader for even distribution.
  • Water the treated area lightly to help the lime settle into the soil.
  • Don't forget to consult your garden expert to determine the pH preferences of your specific plants.

Livestock and Animal Care

Your animals and yourself deserve the best, and First Saturday Lime can help. Not only does it safeguard against pests and odor causing bacteria in their environment, but it'll save you so much time in scrubbing and cleaning water troughs. Both your animals and you will experience greater happiness and relief!

How to Use in Bedding:

  • Spread 1/8" inch of FSL evenly in animal bedding areas to deter pests, control moisture, and reduce odor causing bacteria.
  • Increase the amount of FSL until you achieve the desired effect.
  • FSL can be used on top of or under bedding.

How to Use in Water Troughs:

  • Apply 1/8" inch of FSL evenly over the surface of water to reduce algae causing bacteria and food for mosquitos.
  • Product will permeate water and eventually settle on the bottom.
  • May cause rust if left on metal.
  • Do not use in pools and/or spas as product is insoluble and may clog filter.

Poultry and Egg Production

If you're into poultry farming, FSL is your best friend. It deters pests, promotes calcium for stronger eggshells, and ensures a clean and odor-free coop. Say hello to healthier and more productive birds!

How to Use:

  • Sprinkle 1/8" of the product in coops, runs, and nesting boxes to deodorize and control moisture.
  • It can also be used effectively as a dust bath.
  • Reapply at least monthly to maintain a clean and fresh environment.

Bird Baths and Ponds

Your outdoor water features need some love too. FSL helps control algae and moss causing bacteria in bird baths and ponds while maintaining an ideal pH level for aquatic life. Your feathered friends and fish will thank you!

How to Use:

  • Apply 1/8 inch of FSL evenly over the surface of the water to reduce algae causing bacteria  and mosquito food.
  • FSL will eventually settle on the bottom. Be cautious not to leave it on metal surfaces as it may cause rust.
  • Do not use FSL in pools or spas, as it's insoluble and might clog the filter.

Outdoor Odor Control

Got outdoor odors? FSL can help. It absorbs moisture and controls odor causing bacteria, making your outdoor areas smell fresh and pleasant. Say goodbye to unwanted smells in your garden!

How to Use:

  • Use a yard spreader to evenly distribute FSL in areas with strong odors.
  • Let it sit for 12 to 24 hours.
  • Water the application area to activate FSL.
  • For areas prone to excessive moisture or strong odors, additional or more frequent applications may be necessary.

Litter Box Odor Control

Cat owners, rejoice! FSL is a game-changer for litter box odor. Just sprinkle a bit over the kitty litter, and it will keep the odors at bay. Your cat's space stays fresh, and you have one less thing to worry about!

How to Use:

  • Sprinkle an 1/8-inch layer of FSL over the kitty litter.
  • Reapply on a monthly basis or as needed for optimal odor control.

Urine Spot Control

Dog owners, we understand the frustration of unsightly urine spots on your beautiful lawn. But don't worry, First Saturday Lime is here to save the day! The acidic nature of their urine can lead to those pesky brown spots that detract from your lush, green lawn. FSL acts as a pH balancer, raising the soil's pH level to create a more neutral environment. This helps prevent urine damage and allows your grass to thrive, even in those high-traffic doggy areas!

How to Use:

  • Sprinkle 1/8" inch of FSL over the urine spots.
  • Ensure the grass is still able to receive sunlight for optimal growth.
  • Thoroughly rinse the area after application.

With First Saturday Lime, you can enjoy a pest-free home and yard, cleaner water troughs for your animals, a greener yard, and less odors. We recommend subscribing to First Saturday Lime so you receive your bag the same time every month and you'll receive the greatest discount!
